Can't Believe it!

I really am in shock that it is almost Christmas!
Seems like it was just yesterday that Mike and I had our first date! And to think... it will be 4years this month!!!
For some of you it might not seem that long, especially if you have been at this whole married /love of your life thing for a few more years than us... but seriously...
Where does the time go??

To My Daddy:

Dear Daddy,
It's kind of hard for me to tell you how I feel about you. I just pray that you can hear these words and know just how much I appreciate and Love you.

We are all doing fine here. Just living Life day to day and trying to stay close to the Lord as I know you would want us to. We look forward to the Day when we can be together again.

I hope you are using this time to learn more about the Gospel. We have done all we can on this side to prepare you. Your work is done. Learn all you can Dad.

I still pick up the phone to call you when something crazy has happened or I am so happy I just have to share. When I am reminded of the circumstances, I just say a prayer and hope that you can some how hear my thoughts and are sharing in my happiness.

How lucky you are Dad to be sharing this time with my little ones. When they are ready to come, I know you will be there helping them and preparing them for this life. Please take care of them Dad.

No words can describe how much I miss you. Thank you for being my Dad and Thank you for your love yesterday, today, and always.

I love you Daddy!

Love your little girl

Goals? I need them!

I decided to write a few personal goals down today.

Of course I have my work goals... one of the biggest one being VOLUNTEERS!
Need them.....must have them....

My biggest non-personal Goal....

AKA I can share this in the blogging world and not

feel like the whole world knows my personal spiritual lacking-ness

is to Blog daily...

Yeah, doesn't seem like a big deal or even a Hard goal. But for this busy lady, it is.

Even if it's just a picture, it needs to be posted.

SO...

Here's the first post of many more to come! I hope there are people reading out there, and actually care about these posts. Who knows maybe more people will comment on my ramblings...

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Crazy Times in Goulding Land

It has been crazy over here in Goulding Land! Family in town, Work Work Work, Intern Intern Intern, Work Work Work, Scorpions Scorpions Scorpions, and SSSSLLLLEEEEPPPP!

Hmm.... Lets Explain....

Well We had Family From Ohio in town at the beginning of October. I have ZERO pics from the experience. I have no idea what I was thinking. My camera just sat on my desk, longing for a time where she was needed..... Here is a picture of a family, I see some similarities... SOME....ok None.. But the picture cracks me up! ( you might want to click on it for the full effect)
My Job has kept me very busy, Driving all over the valley helping out the oldies. They are such sweet people! I have never laughed so much in my life! <3

I also started interning at Heritage Square in Phoenix. I actually Work for the Phoenix Museum of History and the Rosson House. I Started being a Docent at the Rosson house about a month ago! Wow oh wow do I love it! If you know me at all, you know how much I just love the past. And Specifically the 1800's. Well this is just up my ally! Everytime I go, I feel like moving in! The house is so beautiful and it is my dream to live in a home with such history! *tear*

Mike got a second job doing computer roll outs for Wellsfargo. He actually is contracted to them from a company that is just FAB! We pray that he will be hired on permanently and if he is he will be traveling all over the country! PRAY FOR US! We really need this opportunity!

Scorpions are everywhere at our house... Well Not now, but two weeks ago it was crazy! And of course me, with my need for cleaning, got stung. I didn't do so hot. Throwing up, crying, throwing up....it was just a vicious cycle of pain! But, I am much better now... and our home is scorpion free....... for now......

Mike and I are in need of a vacation and lots of sleep! Unfortunately, this weekend and next is going to be crazy! Halloween party, my birthday, and the FAIR! Hopefully I will grab
Miss. Camera and post a few later.

Love you!

Food for THOUGHT!

Political Participation, Voting, and the Political Neutrality of the Church

As citizens we have the privilege and duty of electing office holders and influencing public policy. Participation in the political process affects our communities and nation today and in the future.

Latter-day Saints as citizens are to seek out and then uphold leaders who will act with integrity and are wise, good, and honest. Principles compatible with the gospel may be found in various political parties.

Therefore, in this election year, we urge you to register to vote, to study the issues and candidates carefully and prayerfully, and then to vote for and actively support those you believe will most nearly carry out your ideas of good government.

The Church affirms its neutrality regarding political parties, platforms, and candidates. The Church also affirms its constitutional right of expression on political and social issues.

Sincerely yours,

Thomas S. Monson
Henry B. Eyring
Dieter F. Uchtdorf
The First Presidency

Interesting...
Maybe more of us will THINK before we actually vote this year!

So Feeling this!

So I know it has been awhile since I have updated this darn thing....

But right now, I just don't have the time/mentality to post! Plus nada has been going on!

BUT..... I have been pondering these good old Articles of Faith... especially since it's getting to be that time of year again.... Let us all ponder these the next time we try to convince someone who is right and who is wrong....

Articles of Faith 11-12
11 We claim the aprivilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the bdictates of our own cconscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them dworship how, where, or what they may.
12 We believe in being asubject to bkings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in cobeying, honoring, and sustaining the dlaw.

Remember, we are all given free agency, NO ONE can tell us who, what, or how to believe. We should also remember that WE should never tell someone else who, what, or how they should believe as well!

Ah, the joy of Free Agency!

Happy Monday Everyone!
